What is Meditation?

Meditation is an ancient practice that helps to control our own mind and consequently our own life and discover ourselves.

For thousands of years people have used meditation to move beyond the mind’s stress-inducing thoughts and emotional upsets  into the peace and clarity of present moment awareness.

The variety of meditation techniques, traditions, and technologies is nearly infinite, but the essence of meditation is the same: the cultivation of mindful awareness & expanded consciousness.

Meditation is the art of introverting (U-turning) the mind’s attention. From outside where troubles arise inside where peace and tranquillity reside.

About the instructor

Bassam Younes, Life Coach, Astrologer, Breathwork Therapist, has been teaching meditation for 15 years, including Cranbrook School where he facilitated their mindfulness program for 3 years. He has been meditating daily for 25 years.

Bassam is also available for private sessions.
